First, it was Patti Austin who I got to meet personally. And just last December, after the New Year Eve's concert, One Heart One Voice, I had that chance of meeting the man behind the 90's hit song 'You Gotta Be' - ASH:LEY INGRAM.

Who would have thought that Ashley has been living in the country for two years. As he told when we had a chance to talk before the concert, he fell in love with the country's hospitality. He also found his calling here.. He owns an English learning school in Alabang as well as a music studio.

After Patti Austin's concert last December..
But what's different from his school apart from others? He teach English not by speaking but by singing.. I am as curious as you are right now! I have never encountered such school. I've worked in the call center industry but that technique wasn't integrated in the training. More of his school once I have the chance to visit it.

For now let's concentrate to this new song he composed for those affected by Typhoon Yolanda, entitled NEVER GIVE UP.

Ashley is very passionate about the Filipino people and recently traveled to the UK to help raise money for the victims of Yolanda. The song he just wrote will be featured in a compilation album by Star Records.

Never Give Up recently had it's final version recorded with the one and only Patti Austin. The works is still in progress. Watch out for its release!

2013 will end and 2014 will start full of hope especially to those affected by Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

Grammy winner Patti Austin will be joined by some of the Philippines’ most popular performers and a fantastic live band in a concert celebrating the New Year, commemorating the indomitable Filipino spirit, and contributing to a better future.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the victims Typhoon Haiyan for relief efforts. Patti Austin will personally lead a continuing effort to design and build houses in Tacloban through Habitat For Humanity.

The overall tone of the event will be joyous and upbeat, signifying a “Brand New Day” in the Philippines as the country and the world join together in gestures of celebration, goodwill and support. Patti will perform the hit songs which have made her a huge star in the Philippines and worldwide.

Also, OPM Icons have pledged their support for the said concert which includes Richard Merk, Martin Nievera and Lea Salonga as her special guests during the night at the Solaire.

Another fund-raising performance will take place at the Fairmont Raffles Hotel (in Makati) on December 31, 2013 as Patti Austin celebrates New Year.

Tickets will be marketed and sold through Laurel Media outlets, the Solaire Casino and Resort (for the December 29, 2013 show) and Fairmont Raffles Hotel (for the December 31, 2013 show), and thru TicketWorld at 891-9999 or visit www.ticketworld.com.

“Random Access Memories” is the highly anticipated fourth album from French electronic duo DAFT PUNK. This is the first album in over 8 years, and its first under Columbia Records.
The album pays tribute to the late 1970s-early 1980s era of music in the U.S., particularly the sounds that emerged from Los Angeles - this sentiment is reflected in the gradual promotional rollout for the album that includes billboards, television advertisements, and a web series.

Unlike their previous studio albums, DAFT PUNK recruited session musicians to record live instrumentation in professional studio locations. The critically acclaimed album features collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Chilly Gonzalez, Giorgio Moroder, Julian Casablancas, Paul Williams, Todd Edwards, Panda Bear and DJ Falcon.

The album may soon be crowned as the fastest selling album of 2013. It is also DP’s first Number One debut in Billboard’s 200 Chart. In one week, Random Access Memories has already sold more than Daft Punk's last studio release (Human After All), to date.

“Random Access Memories” has received rave reviews from the critics – earning either four or five stars. It has been dubbed as “the most thrilling album of the year”.

DAFT PUNK’s “Random Access Memories” is out in local major record stores now.

Packed with a dozen sensational career-spanning hits and two new chart-topping songs, “Dance Again…the Hits,” released by Ivory Music & Video, the exclusive licensee of Sony Music in the Philippines, marks Jennifer Lopez’s first-ever greatest hits package.  The stellar new tracks are “Goin’ In” (featuring Flo Rida) and “Dance Again” (featuring Pitbull). “Dance Again” has sold more than 1.4 million copies worldwide since its March 2012 debut, and reached #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Chart.  On May 10th, Jennifer sizzled on stage while performing “Dance Again” on American Idol, as well as executing a scorching version of “Goin In” on the  American Idol finale. “Dance Again” finds Lopez, Pitbull and producer RedOne teaming up as they did for “On the Floor,” which is also on “Dance Again…The Hits.”  2011’s  “On The Floor” is Lopez's most successful single to date, topping more than 18 national single charts and selling over three million copies.

The deluxe edition of  “Dance Again…the Hits” includes the bonus tracks “All I Have,” “Que Hiciste” (from Lopez’s first full-length Spanish-language album, 2007’s Como ama una Mujer) and “Let's Get Loud,” plus a DVD with all the smash videos from the album. Both versions of “…The Hits” (track listing below), feature her May 1999 chart debut, “If You Had My Love;” Lopez’s trademark “Jenny From The Block,” as well as hit collaborations and remixes with Fabolous, Ja Rule, Fat Joe and others.

The multi-talented international superstar has sold over 70 million records worldwide, 11.8 million albums in the United States, and scored 11 #1 hits, making her one of the best-selling artists of all time, establishing “Dance Again…the Hits” as a must-have musical retrospective.

Dance Again…the Hits is available in music stores nationwide. You can also download the album on www.mymusicstore.com.ph

Nicki Minaj painted the town pink during her one-night-only jam-packed concert aptly titled “Nicki Minaj Live! in Manila: Pink Friday Tour”at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last July 11, 2012. The tour was actually her first visit in the Philippines and it seemed that she already made quite an impression to her Filipino Barbies& Kens (Nicki’s teenage fans).
